If you have windows, idk. If you have an iMac, then put the photos you want in a new folder, go to change the background, then choose the file from the desktop (the file should be the folder you just made). When you choose it, there should be a display of all the pics in that folder. At the bottom of the window, there should be a bar for changing the pic after a certain amount of time and just keeping it there. Choose the duration time for your photos and hit ok.

One of the easiest, and best ways, in my humble opinion, is to download Desktop Webshots. This program allows you to change your desktop every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, or 24 hours. You can also download 5 free pictures from their featured collections each day, or as many photographs as you like from the community forums. There's also the option to use just your own photographs if you prefer.
Download it from the following site. You'll see the download option at the top right of the screen where it asks you to sign in or register. (Registration is free, and well worth the effort.)

Put all your photos and pictures in the MY PICTURES Folder. GOTO Start>>MY PICTURES
Then Right click on the desktop>>Properties>>Screen Saver Tab.
Where U choose the Screen Savers...Scroll down to My Pictures Slideshow, and there ya go.
Or if U have your pictures in another folder. Click on the Settings Button and browse to that folder...
