If that were so, then I would be the unluckiest guy here as I have been listening to Christmas Music nearly every day since March.

Have a Great Christmas!

Noooo, of course it's not bad luck. You want to talk about someone who is a Christmas music fanatic. Just take a look at me! LOL. If my family knew how much I listen to Christmas music every year, they'd think I was nuts. I know what you mean about it making you feel happy. There's something about those Christmas songs that seem to transcend all the bad things in the world just for a moment. It's the only kind of music that people of all backgrounds can honestly be fond of. It brings you back to a time when things seemed so simple and promising. There's just nothing like it. By all means, enjoy it! I don't believe in bad luck but I do believe in Christmas spirit.
I can't wait to hear some Nat King Cole!

Well, if christmas music lifts your spirits that all well and good. You shouldn't think anything is bad luck though. Here's a word to the wise: if you look for it then you'll find it.
If you think that the bad things that start to happen to you or around you are because you're listening to music that make you happy, then that's what it will seem to be. Remember life is FULL of good and bad moments. Some times they come in bunches. You get to decide what you will focus on.

"Luck" as you call it is a function of probabilities. Listening to Christmas music will affect your probabilities of unwanted fortuitous events (bad luck) exactly as much as listening to any other kind of music. If you allow music (classical to rap) to distract you from paying attention to what you are doing, then it increases your probability of being involved in an accident of some sort. The music in and of itself will not affect goings on around you in a positive or negative manner. It is only how you react to the music that will affect you.

Bad luck? Not a chance. If the music makes you happy, listen to it as much as you want. The season is all about good will toward men.

Wow. I like to wait until Halloween is done before I really get into Christmas. If you can handle Christmas music this early in the year...then by all means do what ever makes you happy. Everybody sing --- ♫ ♫ ♫Jingle Bells Jingle Bells ♫♫ ♫
