There are so many women getting pregnant! So man of my friends are preggers, and they're between the ages of 18 and 22...
Is this an epidemic?
And any advice of how to deal with wanting a baby but wanting to wait?

i know a lot of young mothers, or young mothers to be as well. not really much advice on how to deal with wanting a baby but also wanting to wait. my best friend had 3 kids my the time she was 20...she just turned 21, lives on wel-fare, and sits at home all the time. maybe that will kind of make you want to wait?!

You can deal with it by stepping back and thinking about all the things you are going to get to do in your twenties that they are going to miss out on like overseas holidays, new cars, houses, jobs, parties, late nights, alcohol and the biggest one of all MATURITY!!
The younger you have kids the more you miss out on and the harder it is to financially cope unless you both work fulltime and can budget well. If you wait a few more years you can work fulltime now, set yourself up with all the nice things you want and then give the baby thing a go.

Yes!
when i was ttc it seemed like every chick i saw was pregnant and i just couldnt help but get jealous.
id would say think about it some more if you really want a baby and can take care of yourself and it then go for it and try or another thing is offer to babysit one of your friends little ones...that might put you off

Just wait. Being prego and having babies is a big job, and alot of time. I had my 1st at 21 and really wish I would had waited untill now. Your whole life is on hold for 18 years, and by then what fun will you really be.,

well whats worse is we were ttc for a few months and i found out a bunch of my friends were preg and some high school girls. and none of them were trying. i threatened to go walk around the high school cause apparently its easy for them to conceive. but the next month i was pregnant so I'm glad i didn't have to go back to the school haha.
