i work with the disabled, and today i was helping a client get something in his room, and i got a glob of something on my hands. i know what you are thinking - and no it isn't that. it had been there for a long long time and was still gobby. well like an idiot i scratched my eye a little later without thinking. it has been irritated since ( 5 hrs)

i flushed with water - what else can i do?

Yuuuuuck! Conjunctivitis might be on the way. In the morning ...if it has evolved into an eye infection...you need to have a culture and sensitivity specimen taken. [It could be something that is very antibiotic resistant]. If you have an eye culture result ...they will know what antibiotic to use ...that will cure it ...rather than wasting time and money.

oh brother, you probably infected yourself with god knows what, you should see a doctor for some antibiotic eye drops.
