65nm CPU's are in some Halo Editions, there is a thread on Xbox.com forum, it tells u which have 65nm inside: http://forums.xbox.com/15804553/ShowPost.aspx
Also, the 65nm CPU is not really helping (at least it shouldn't) the GPU is what is giving off heat so If i were you wait till early 08 when they go 65nm. People are saying that the 65nm CPU runs cooler, and is quieter, but still some 360's have been reported of RRoding. My advice is this: Do not buy a 360! I know its harsh but even if you wait, and get the 65nm CPU &GPU, theres still gonna be a chance it breaks, an because Xbox is so cheep, the shove crappy old parts into refurbs that they send back. So if It does break, then you might as well have gotten any old 360. So if you REALLY want a 360, you have 2 options, wait for GPU, and take a bit of a risk, or get a used of ebay, I mean if it breaks, you have waranty and they'll send you a refurb anyway so..(I mean a refurb is as bad quality as any used Xbox you can buy) Theres my 2 cents, take it, leave it, w/e. Hope I helped.

If you can wait a little then wait for cristmas and they might have a price drop. Otherwise they will have a new one in 2009-2011 that will go from 30% chance of breaking to 5%.
By that time all the good game prices will go down too.
