of course not. politicians who buy votes will be corrupt. they will use their position to regain their money. corrupt politicians will use that same position in enriching themselves!

No. We are a democratic republic. American politicians are elected to vote for the people. Now days they vote for Pfizer and the NRA.

Doesn't the definition of Oligarchy sound exactly like America today?

OLIGARCHY is a form of government where political power effectively rests with a small elite segment of society (whether distinguished by wealth, family or military powers).

No - I believe the politicians who advocate lobbyists who spend to advertise their propaganda for candidates who will work for the lobbyist and not the People of the country are corrupt, and when they accept contributions from lobbyists this is vote buying in the worst sense and violates our trust.

No, this is totally something that should even be thought about, although it is, it buys the freedom of belive and thoughts of others, what if I got for a team and somebody pays me to go for another one, it just wouldn't feel right that somebody controlled my life
