Be sad because it was the original sign of the bond shared between the two of us. Considering the fact that it was genuinely lost, I would replace it immediately.

They say, who knows who 'they' are, that a majority if men lose their wedding rings because they aren't used to wearing rings. Who knows....if they lost it, they would just have to buy a new one, that's what I would do.

I wouldn't be upset if my wife lost her ring. Because the ring doesn't say that I love her, it's my loving her for who she is and accepting her for who she is.
Honestly I would be perfectly happy if my wife and I didn't have rings, because we don't need rings to know that we are married.

I lost mine taking my gloves off on the ski lift on a ski weekend.
She gave me some crap about but we have a great relationship, and a material possession can't touch that!

If the ring had a lot of monetary value, it may be covered under your homeowner's/renter's insurance. Regardless, buy a new one.

I got over it pretty quick. He can't really wear one for his work anyway. And he always has my class ring with him, so it's ok. But if he lost my class ring....

My husband did loose his and he felt so bad he couldn't ever talk about it without crying. It is a big deal to them. I say just get a new one...and super glue it to the finger. :-)

Think notting of it mine kept telling me he was losing his all the time so i just stop wearing mine two can play that game
