black man/white woman relationships?

Question

why do so many black men who only date white women say they date white women because of how black women are when the white women they date have just as bad attitudes and are often overweight, unattractive, rude, and try to talk like a stereotypical african american but fail miserably? also, why is it if a white guy dates a black woman all of a sudden they like black women again or get mad?

and why do white women who say they date likewise say all white men are bad and act like white people are a curse on society when they themselves are white? they also say things about white men when the black men they date treat them just as bad.

i'm not talking about normal black man/white woman relationships, just the ones who act like they are better than everyone else and have racist views about their own race and about other races. here's some links to what i'm talking about.

i don't mind interracial dating of any kind, its just i've noticed the ignorance common in a lot of black man/white woman couples and i'm just curious as to why because there's so many double standards with that kind of attitude

I completely agree with you. I think the people who SEARCH for mates of a different race do so because they have insecurities about their own. My husband is white but I was not looking for a white man. Heck, I wasn't looking for a man, period, but I happened upon him and he's a great guy.

On the other hand, if a white guy is seeking a black girl just because she is black or the other way around or whatever, they will usually have negative things to say about women of their own race.

Those are the people I can't stand.

If you're going to date outside of your race, that's fine. I condone it. Diversity is beautiful. But don't down your own race just because you've had a few bad experiences.

i see what you are saying. i am white (european, not american) i am married to a black american man, and i just think what you are talking about is simply a reflection on the upbringing of those specific people and their own ignorance. i married my husband because of the person that he was. i dont hate white men, i just happen to be in love with a black one. and no i dont try to talk like black women do, its not me and will never be. somethings are reserved for certain groups of people and not others.
