Hardly, grasping at straws. A lot of people dont support the war. Why would people that dont support the War vote for someone who is for it?

Hes up to 3% nationally and at 7.5% in NH

Rasmussen also reports him polling at 33% among black in NH

Ron Paul is favored by some due to his excellent views on critical issues and he is challenging Hillary Clinton for the Presidential race.

they didn't make it up... the poll basically showed that it doesn't matter who the republicans nominate to run against Hillary: her support would remain basically the same, whether it was Rudy or Ron Paul (somewhere around 48%).

I think that no matter how much his supporters spam newsgroups and try to rally support -- it will continue to look like any other type of spam, and generally be ignored.
