Absolutely not, he will worsen the problem. He wants to open the border to Mexico, and will eventually annex Mexico creating more tax weight to the country. He has a Mexican agenda and not a United States constitutional commitment.

No. You go to his website for Governor, and Illegal immigration cannot be found anywhere, so it has NO priority in his mind.

James...you have a point, but it is irrelvant on this issue because Richardson would not either. 5 wrongs do not make a right.

con...clueless...Here are a few reasons why we have an ILLEGAL immigration problem.
1. They take low paying jobs...HOLDING DOWN PAY.
2. They do not pay taxes...if you earn that little you do not have to even if you get an ILLEGAL social security number
3. Those who DO steal an identity and pay taxes, get more back than they pay in through the "earned income tax credit"
4. They are over represented in our prisons costing tax payer money.
5. They are milking the welfare system through fraud.
6. They are getting free education, costing us MORE tax dollars.
7. They go to the emergency room for medical care because they know that they will not be refused, and WE PAY MORE TAXES.
8. They are stealing from our economy and sending it back to Mexico (they have no right to be here, so they have no right to work and take from our economy)
9. Many of those coming here illegally are also bringing drugs.
10. WHAT PART OF ILLEGAL DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

I wouldn't vote for Mr. Richardson, but only because he is a Democrat. He is a nice man, intelligent, and fair and other than his political views, I like the guy. I don't think his ethnicity makes any difference.

Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Bill Clinton, & George W. Bush are all White men, & none of them did anything to stop illegal immigration to the United States.

I wasn't aware we where trusting him to fix it. I also think we can drop the Mexican monicker. Plus he is part Mexican. The man is an American. A governor, congressman, Ambassador and cabinet secretary. I think he has proven his allegiance to this country. Have you?

Not just Bill Richardson; it seems like we can't trust any of the current Democratic candidates or many of the Republicans for that matter on this issue. (Tancredo being the exception I suppose)

Of course. Bill is a very diplomatic person & the Mexicans highly respect him. They would listen to him before they'd listen to anyone else.

No, all of the Democrat candidates want to flood America with third world trash. Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Can you name me any politician that actually will?

At the very least I know that Richardson will not start an unnecessary war, because he from experience knows what diplomacy is.
