This is a partnership that could last ofr another sevne years and its scary to think they have just now started playing together so this is only going to get better with time. They have gelled well with so little time and I thought they werent going to play well together as they were too similar but they are proving all doubters wrong and showing a great on field connection. All Man United fans should be happy as they are both young and have expressed a desire to stay for the long run so this could become a legendary partnership.

Considering they've only started 5 games 6 games together so far i think it could be the start of something incredible, i was amazed at the almost telepathic understanding of Cole and Yorke back in 98/99 but Rooney and Tevez have the potential to surpass that.

Mike J makes a very good analysis.

I became a United Fan because of Cole and Yorke.

Rooney and Tevez are slowly becoming a lethal tandem.
Their goal against Boro was just a beauty to watch, their understanding with each other is growing quickly.

Maybe, but it may only last until England face Argentina again... oh wait, Tevez isn't the b**** that Ronaldo is.
Well in that case then ya it could be a potentially great partnership up front for United. Maybe it'll also help Rooney be less selfish

I agree with MIKE J..

Tevez and Rooney are looking like Cole and Yorke, and yes, they definitly have the potential to surpass them.

This is a great partnership and they're both gelling together to form a deadly duo. Bring on all-comers.

As previously mentioned, they are looking a bit like the new Yorke and Cole. But in today's modern game, there is a lot more competition, and we might end up having them fighting over the ball and goals. This is unlikely, however, so fingers crossed and they'll lead Manchester United to another consecutive Premiership win, and hopefully, success in Europe.

I think it's the beginning of a potentially great partnership. Hopefully an enduring one also. The last 2 matches have seen these two develop their understanding of each other and their games. It can only get better as they play more matches. Their play against Boro was superb. They knew exactly where the other was and unselfishly played to each other for the benefit of the team. They have the potential to be a very lethal combination.

Well...I have to admit it...I was one of the first to slate Tevez moving to Man Utd...couldnt see him slipping in with the up front players...but, they are both playing well together...similar players, similar build...funny why FFF and Gerrard cant play the midfield like these two play up front.

Tevez and Rooney are a great combination up-front. i don't know why some people are even doubting that.
