A standard queen quilt is usually 87x87 (total of 7569 square inches) and you have only 28 10x10 blocks (finished size of 9.5" so a total of 2527 square inches) so about 1/3 of the quilt top will actually be the blocks. You can add wide sashing and borders, or arrange the blocks as a center focus and add additional blocks and borders to make it to size. A piece of graph paper will help with the placement of the blocks and the borders. If you're not comfortable doing the design yourself, most any quilt guild would be happy to have you as a visitor and you'll get a bunch of different suggestions on how/what to add to make it large enough.

Alternate them with plain 10" squares and add a border ... maybe a very wide border. You'd have a row with 4 granny-made blocks separated by three plain ones, followed by a row with 3 granny-made blocks separated by four plain ones, alternated ... this would be about 66" x 76" and then add the borders.

Or, put them "on point" (diamond-wise) ... use for the main section of the quilt (5,4,5,4,5,4 or similar) and add borders, then use any remaining for a bolster or for throw pillows.

You should definitely join a quilting club and have them show you your options, and then show you how to do the sewing. There are several choices on how to combine your squares with new fabrics to make the size quilt you want, how to join them together and then combine with batting and backing to make a quilt. It's rewarding but hard to get started if you don't know the basics.

Are the squares a pattern? If so, you may want to post one of the squares on here and then we can help you find the pattern, which will show the proper placement. After having looked for several years I have finally found the pattern for blocks that my grandmother made more than 50 years ago.

Good luck!

You can take a queen size flat sheet and some rolled batting and just sew them to the sheet around each square.
