There email is attempting to engage unsuspecting individuals in a money laundering scam. I received a job offer from Pomona Ltd. and it was sent to look like it came thru Monster, but it did not. Contacted Monster regarding this and the below message is what they sent to me. I hope this gets to everyone before they get scammed!!!
Best Wishes,

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. The email you are inquiring about is called an 'email spoof'. This e-mail spoof uses the Monster name to add credibility to the fraudulent offer. Please be aware that this is not a Monster authorized email. It was not sent by or through Monster.
This email is attempting to engage unsuspecting individuals in a money laundering scam. It is in your best interest to disregard the email. Do not engage with them!

Yeah, there is a lot of fake job offers going around at the moment ..

.. usually they are easy to 'spot'
1) the 'syntax' language is VERY poor English but claims to be a major UK Company and says things like ..
"the board considering you CV and accepting you qualification directs you the job"
2) they ask for all sorts of documents (Passport, driving license, visa ..) and even may ask you to pay them some courier fee or 'interview' fee etc.
3) Often it turns out they just want you to cash their bouncing cheques and send them the money via non-refundable means (Western Union)
