and subsidize his salary to stay in Kansas City the rest of his career? I mean baseball is exempt from Anti-Trust laws, right? and if he isn't injured financially he can't win anything in court.

If the Royals win, I could handle that. A-Rod would probably get them into the playoffs and then disappear, though.

That would be funny. Suppose they won?

As a Yankees fan, I watched him play every day for 4 years. I really don't understand why everyone wants him. Did u ever hear the fans over the last 4 years, when the Yanks played at home, and A Rod was at bat? He was always booed every time (last few months of this past season was the exception). Why do you think we booed him? Because we saw how over rated he is. No Yankees fan who has been a Yankees fan for 20+ years liked him. Yes he hit 54 homers 130+ RBI's, but when does he hit anything, only when the Yankees have a commanding lead. When he is needed in a clutch situation, he makes an out EVERY SINGLE TIME, and most of the time it's a double play. This has been 4 years now, not just a slump, or a bad season, this is how he is, he STINKS. His post season record is the worst in MLB history. And defensively he is just average. So why does everyone love this man, if his own fans hated him, that should tell everyone something.

If the Yankees could have, they would have traded him 3 years ago and they would have eaten his salary, just to get rid of him, and they would have done the same thing 2 years ago, and last year also. The Yankees management is glad he left, why do you think they are so adiment about not even trying to bid for him, and anybody that knows anything about the Yankees know the last thing the Yankees care about his spending money, and even they didn't won't bid for him, and the Yankees fan LOVE he left because we never wanted him to begin with.

Even the Red Sox fans right after they won the world series were chanting don't get A Rod. They werent cheering their team won, they were chanting don't get A Rod because they see how much he stinks.
