Priced at $1689... that's WAY over priced.
I just helped a friend buy a Dell Inspiron 1720 with a 17" wide screen monitor, 160GB Hard drive, 2 MB RAM, 256MB Video card, CD/DVD +/- writer and more for $1603 on sale from $1870.
A much better buy and Consumer Reports rates the Inspiron 1720 just behind the $2800 Mac laptop.
Duh.... take a look at the Dell's.

Hi. Only if you need that much computing power. Quite a bit of money for six month old tech. My opinion.
