Absolutely NOT. Expensive chainsaws are two cycle high rpm motors which depend on high film strength additives, fuel stabilizers and above all the oil is designed to burn as the engine runs. There are no additives which change viscosity ratings.
Two cycle TCW-3, 2 cycle oils have an ashless detergent which helps minimizing ring sticking, prevents piston scuffing, pre ignition, rust and keeps ports and combustion chambers clean.
Four cycle oils have tons of additives to prevent it form burning which would foul spark plugs build black residue in combustion chambers, transfer and exhaust ports.

Are you referring to the engine or the bar? The engine NO and the bar yes. I used to use used engine oil for the bar with no problems.

Nah, most chainsaws are two stroke...You have to mix the oil with the gas, like a weed eater (if I am not mistaken...I don't know of any chainsaws that aren't two stroke.)

Theoretically, yes. But it's best to use SAE30 oil for these types of motors.
