I inserted the disk into my iMac slot(not tray) I inserted it the wright way too, it won't play. I guess it was dirty or something and then I tried to eject it and it won't eject. I pressed the button and tried Apple E and it won't go. Worst of all now the DVD icon isn't there and thinks there is nothing there. I went to applications and disk utility and all it does is want to try to read the disk, and won't give me to option of ejecting it. What should I do?

Restart your Mac. That should bring up the CD icon, then you can drag and drop it into the trash to eject it.

Try ejecting it with iTunes. I've done that before when it didn't recognize the disk and it worked.
