Rather quickly, if you stick to that scheduled sleeptime. The more regular your new hours are kept, even on your days off, the quicker you will adapt. You'll feel groggy for about two weeks then start to clear up. Stay hydrated. Pay attention to that. It plays into melatonin cycles that regulate sleep.

To be realistic... probably a month. Stay away from caffeine as much as possible and try to stick to your schedule as best you can. Its good you'll still be up from 8am-2:30pm because the hardest part of working 3rd shift is if you have to try to go to sleep at 8am when you get home. The rising sun kind of makes you feel awake again even though you just worked 8 hours. GOOD LUCK! (I hate to say it but Red Bull is helpful at the beginning of a shift if you're really tired).

It depends. If you require a lot of rest, you will never get used to it. If you factor in homework, you won't get much sleep at all. Try the routine until the end of this semester. If it feels like it is too much, you will need to take a lighter course load at school in the future.

It all depend on your sense of adaptability.Seemingly your workplace, school and house(boarding/space/whatever) are just near or adjacent to each other based on the time table you presented.
You will have easy time to adjust and you are very comfortable with your schedules!!!

That's a really tuff shift to work. I myself found it hard to adapt, I never got enough rest. Just try to honor you set schedule and not stray from it.
