If you mean using a factory as an analogy for a cell:

Nucleus: Foreman's office, where blueprints and schematics are kept and the foreman gives out orders.

ER: Factory floor, with ribosomes (in rough ER) as the machines.

Golgi: Forklifts for carrying materials around. Also serves as machines to fold and assemble materials (since the golgi provide an environment for proteins to be properly folded and assembled into functional forms).

Mitochondria: Generators to supply power.

Chloroplast (in plant cells): Solar power for an eco-friendly factory.

Cytoskeleton: Structural support for the factory and transport rails for moving products along from one part of the factory to the other.

Lysosomes: Trash compactors and shredders.

Hope this helps!

You are probably talking about cellular manufacturing. This is where the factory floor is divided into areas called cells. Each cell has an input internal processing (that adds value) and output. The cells are connected to build a product.
