If you look carefully where the fuel line goes to the injectors you should find a small bleeder valve. Kind of like a tire valve. Turn on the key so fuel pump is getting power and bleed the air from the system. Be careful as it will be around 40 psi.

depends on how often you ran it below half tank of gas before. Gm's use the fuel in the tank to keep the pump cool if it falls below 1\2 tank the pump does not have any gas around it so the pump will heat up and go bad. you should try to reprime the injectors by turning the key on and off three times leaving the key on for about 10 secs. after that the car should crank. Hope this helps

hi have hubby stand at rear of car turn on ignition so the lights come on.... does hubby or you hear a noise like a buzzing. If so the fuel pump is ok.
ok next do this again leave the light on for about 30 secs to 1 minute. Now turn on the engine again make sure its in park pump the pedal a few times and try again. turn over the engine... hopefully it will start. .. Also check that teh fuel cut off hasnt tripped. ( look in your manual and find it and reset it as per the manual it as per manual).
Question... does the car turn over ???? try to start or just nothing at all..?/

Fill it up, and let it turn over a bit. If it ran out of gas, then chances are the lines are empty, and you have to refill them. It might take a bit of turning over. Also might need some fuel injector cleaner (such as seafoam) to clean the injectors...Bottom of the gas tank often has junk in it that filters through the gas pump, and if you empty the tank, that can commonly get sucked through into the lines and eventually into the injectors.

sorry you need to watch your gage. if it is a fuel infected system you will have to get the air out of fuel lines and the injector system on engine.takes a while.
