To me , he is either trying to grab attention the wrong way, he is a pest and needs to be taught a lesson for interrupting or he is a spoiled brat and at home he does it so he thinks that in your forum it is alright too. What I would do is to talk to him outside the classroom ( lunchtime or recess) and if that does not work tell him to go to the principal's office but inform the principal first that you have a disruptive student and oothers are unable to learn and that you talked to the boy and it did not work. Have a conference with the parents would be a third option and having the principal and yourself sit down and talk to the parents to see what can be done. The last thing would be to bar him from the classroom and all assignments would be given to him anf he is responsible to have them finished on time and when he has learned his lesson he may be able to reenter with his classmates.

I agree with hello world, I have this two old ladies always spying on me, they always seen to know when I get in and whe I get out of the office. By the way that little boy sounds like my son, he doesn't seem to have a turn off button. Could this be a coincidence?

The only thing I can think of is that one of my co-workers always seems to be on my case....and she is quite senior, so I probably can't do too much about it. I am only in the office for two hours per day....and I do try my hardest to make the most of it....but she is quite often either telling me to do something I am already doing....or telling me what to do next. I probably should not let it bother me....but it does sometimes.

Well sweety my first thought is call Caesar Milano. But seeing that won't work in your case I would say redirect him! When he starts talking send him to do an errand or ask him if he wants to 'teach' the class!

Yes, It bothers me when you talk to someone for three years and they neglect to tell you they got engaged all of a sudden even though they said they were not in a relationship and they love and want only you. ARGHHHH.

we have one in our class that will never show up ( im a student not a teacher but this might still help) have you and him and you have a little " lunch date" and keep him in for recess and lunch . or if its that serius call his parents. That usally shuts people up at our school.

Lol. Everyone always has someone who annoys them. I think it's part of life, and yes, it gets irritating and frustrating. But the best solution is to learn patience. Otherwise, you'll really struggle.
