Of course....its great and I am very excited....my son will be out guising and getting sweets and I will eat all the ones he doesn't like! We have monkey nuts, a turnip lamp, apples, sweets...all manner of great stuff to hand out to guisers.

Its nice to hear they do, but man whats with all the negative feedback on Halloween. I love Halloween. I get dressed up and dress up my house and love to see all the fantastic costumes the kids come up with. Its fun to try to scare the older ones to. LOL ! I didn't know so many people were so bumbed out by it like the Suzy and the other neg feed back. Grumpy Grumpy

Yes of course we do, it's where it started! I've found in England its not as big a deal as it is in Ireland, everyone goes out and gets p*ssed in Ireland and ppl have parties for their kids. In England people do do stuff but bars wouldn't really have as many halloween themed nights whereas most bars in Ireland do. In think in England we do more for bonfire night (5th nov, where there are fireworks and bonfires) whereas that isnt celebrated in Ireland, instead they have fireworks on Halloween.

Yes, but the stuff you can buy is super lame and in the big cites it is overlooked because of some hindu festival.

Yet another case of our customs being overshadowed by those who have come from overseas.

The local council keeps trying to get out of putting up the christmas lights but is more then happy to bend over backwards for the devliai festival and their lights.

Unfortunately yes, I don't see why I should be expected to dole out sweets to a load of little brats I don't know, if I offered sweets to kids any other time of the year I would be arrested!!! I think it should be outlawed completely.

Yes, but it is not celebrated as big in the UK as opposed to countries like Canada and the USA. However, having said that. Every year it appears to getting bigger...which is a good thing.

Yes we do, it originated in Ireland you know!

Didn't used to be as big here as it was in the USA but we're catching up!
