ok thanks everyone but while i was looking for possible reasons myself, i saw that the chrysler engine from 98-00 the 2.7 ones were pieces of trash so i think im going to leave that problem to someone who has the time and skill to fix it

Low octane gas. If it's a newer car, it needs high octane gas.

can be many reasons.
The most obvious on a worn engine is bearing rumble.
Pull off each plugwire at idle and hear whether the knock goes away, if it does, that particular cylinder and components has a fault on it.
Could also be a piston pin, too much crank end play, loose pulleys.
if you use a large screwdriver and put the handle to your ear while pressing the point to the engine while the engine is running, you can hear where the knock originates from.

Bad gas. Makes a smooth motor knock and ping like crazy. Nowadays most gas is of pretty poor quality, try adding a bottle of octane boost at your next fill-up.

simple,,, fault lights dont work after you replace your engine put in gauges if you want to avoid this being repeated
