I am not a new ECW fan, with a pretty stupid booking stylecombined with the loss of RVD Sabu and Benoit it is pretty much as prestigous as Heat. But during Extreme matches we saw a small wisp of old ECW which we hoped thwe brand would become. There hasnt been an extreme rules match since the tuesday before the Draft at Orlando, FL (i was there!) so I have a question. WHat is the point of calling it extreme if the most extreme things you got is a fat guy without a shirt and a SD! reject chick magnet. When will we see a hardcore match again?

I don't know, but I am disgusted with Vince for keeping the name ECW for that show. I want him to let ECW perish with what little dignity it has nowadays ever since Vince has peed on it's legacy since last year.
It's just not the same anymore, thanks to that damn Vince.

Totally agree, man. I think we'll probably see an "extreme rules" match fairly soon between Punk and V.
I would LOVE to see a six-man tag match involving the current stars of WWECW and have New Jack come out with his shopping cart in the middle of it and show them what ECW really means!

to answer the question at hand, that is the reason why most people quit, especially rob van dam. they did not like what mr. mcmahon had in mind for the new ecw. don't expect the new ecw to be anything remotely like the old ecw. rob van dam said it in an interview he had. you could look it up on youtube if you feel like it.

I don't know when we will see it again, but I hope it's soon. I want to see some hardcore wrestling. Maybe with ECW and Smackdown being connected they will start back with extreme matches. We can only wait and see.
