I understand the issue of Hilary but would we as a nation be more lenient toward a woman who didn't have initial contact with the whitehouse or someone who didn't come across as a threat to the way of life we have tried so hard to keep from getting shaken up?

There is no issue of America electing a woman for President.
The issue is Hillary, who we all know a little too well over the past 15 years.
The issue in 1984 was not so much Geraldine Ferraro as it was with Walter Mondale and the offer by the Democrat Party to return to the good ol' days of the Carter era when everybody had a chicken in their pots, so to speak-Just kidding.
Hillary represents a return to the Clinton era when scandals plagued the presidency and our armies and intelligence posture was slashed and she wanted to gay up the military.

The only people I've seen make an issue out of Hillary's gender are her supporters and a few fanatics on the fringe who are out of touch with the 20th century, let alone the 21st.
Her opposition is solidly grounded in her policies, her hypocritical contradictions, and her record of scandal and controversy that's a mile wide.

I don't think of Hilary as a woman running for president. I think of her as a politician running for president. I honestly don't believe that for the majority of people there would be any problem with a well-qualified woman running for president. Anyone who is currently complaining about her gender is probably subconsciously aware of what a piece of dreck she is!

I do not think being a Woman president is an issue any longer.it is getting one that is smart and honest,not Hilliary.
