Is a CV joint worn, torn, or off?
Also, failing that, check the tire rod

A couple of things to check right off the bat. #1. Sway bar links worn or loose. #2. Check tightness of lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rod ends. #3.Say bar frame grommets.

As some one else said: Strut bearings. Were they checked or replaced?

Front wheel drive?
Then get your cv joints checked/replaced real soon as they sound like they may be shot and could fly apart at any time ..believe me it has happened to me with costly results.
