could be the coil or the coil driver from the pcm. get a book, check the resistance of the coil primaries, if ok check the driver wiring from the pcm to the coil. it is also possible for the driver to burn out of the pcm.

Here's what you should do. Check for fire at the two outer plugs. If OK, Replace the plugs. If not, You have a bad coil pack or engine controller. Odds are its the coil pack.

install new spark plugs and wires.

That car has no distributor cap. The coil is electronically controlled. If the problem still exists you can try replacing coil. After that, it will be the engine controller.....

Ok, not sure of that model but would start with cracked or broken spark plugs, spark plug leads, broken rotor or cracked distributor. All can be done and replaced by you.
That is the cheapest and first step and am afraid that after that would probably mean garaging for check on piston or valve damage etc.
Good luck

YOUR SHOULD GET YOU VEHICLES COMPUTER SCANNED TO FIND OUT JUST WHAT THE PROBLEM IS FIRST AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE SOME IDEA WHAT TO EXPECT.

TRY FINDING AN INDEPENDENT SHOP INSTEAD OF THE DEALER OR A CHAIN STORE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE OVERALL MORE PLEASED WITH THE FINDINGS AND THE SERVICE.
