If you want to be a pharmacist, you need to go to Pharmacy school. There are only a few select universities in each state that have pharmacy schools. You can major in biology, biochemistry, or chemistry in college before you go to pharmacy school. You will need good grades and good test results. So yes, you need more schooling after 4 years of undergraduate work. Pharmacists usually find pretty decent work.

If you are looking to be a pharmacist, you have to take 4 years of pre-med and then 4 years of pharmacy school---pharmacists are now required to be Dr's. My daughter just finished her premed and is enrolling in pharmacy school--that's how I know! If you are looking to be a pharmacy tech--that's a different story, requiring less schooling/training and obviously earning less money. Hope that helps --Good Luck!

Pharmacy schools, in general, require 2 years of prepharm before acceptance. Some schools require or de facto require a bachelors. In total it takes 6-8 years to complete.
