Most Middle Eastern problems caused by Israel???

Because Iran building nuclear weapons is Israel's fault
Because Iraq invading Kuwait is Israel's fault
Because Saudi Arabia cheating governments out of millions of dollars is Israel's fault
Because Syria bitching at Lebanon is Israel's fault
Because Iran going to war with Iraq is Israel's fault
Because America invading Iraq is Israel's fault

These are just a few examples, but I think you can see my point.

I think a lot of it has to do with Israel doing the US's dirty work for them. Israel would not have the power to cause so many mid-east problems if it wasn't for the backing of the US.

Just recently the news came out that Dick Chaney had drawn up a plan to ask Israel to launch a missile attack against Iran's nuke facility, in that way when Iran retaliated the US could be justified in attacking them.

Because of differing ideology US has had little ability to create a strong foothold in the mideast. Israels dependence on US made weapons and funding, and geographical location make it the non majority Islamic country in the area.

Although some would deny it there is a strong anti-islam sentiment in this country.

On top of that another reason to keep mum on the Israel situation is that if you critisize the Israeli government some people will say you are anti-semetic. Most people don't want to be labled as such so they keep it to themselves.

The U.S supports Israel because it is its only ally in the Mid-East.
However, this support is NOT unconditional.
Two years ago the U.S forced Israel to give the Arabs a huge amount of land, which Israel did, after evicting thousands of Jewish families from their homes.
Since then, there have been countless rocket attacks launched at Israel from the very land it gave to the Arabs, by the very same Arabs to whom Israel gave that land...
Why don't the Arabs build homes, schools, and hospitals there, instead of launching rockets into defenseless Israeli towns????
Your assertion that Israel is the cause of all Mid-East problems has a uniquely Muslim logic.
The Muslims want a Mid-East that is 100% Muslim, and if they could "erase Israel off the map" (a direct quote from Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas) then there would be no trouble in the Mid-East.
Let me remind you that the world contains 22 Arab countries, and over 30 Muslim countries which are not Arab.
The Jewish people have only ONE homeland. Israel.
Why can't they leave Israel alone????

it's not at all unconditional. israel does a lot for the US, and does a lot of what the US asked.
in the first gulf war, iraq sent missiles into israel, and the US asked israel not to retaliate, and they didn't. what other country would get attacked and not strike back? not to mention economic ties.

furthermore, israel is the only democracy in the region, the only place with civil rights, the only place with an economy that compares to ours. israel is second only to canada in the number of foreign companies on the US stock market.

now, why do you think a lot of the mid=east problems are caused by israel? did israel attack us on 9/11? is israel responsible for the killings in darfur? for al qaeda? iraq?
israel is just trying to survive day to day, surrounded by countries that think that anyone who is not a muslim should not live there.

whose side are YOU on?

I believe it's because Israel is our only real ally in the Middle East. It's a democracy and includes people of every religion and nationality, including Palestinians. Israel is an island of democracy and it's only about the size of New Jersey!

It is not Israel that causes the problems its the mad Arabs. The USA is a supporter of freedom and democracy that's why they support Israel.

Yes, and we all know they brought the Holocaust on themselves too!

Neighborhood Bully by Bob Dylan

Well, the neighborhood bully, he's just one man,
His enemies say he's on their land.
They got him outnumbered about a million to one,
He got no place to escape to, no place to run.
He's the neighborhood bully.

The neighborhood bully just lives to survive,
He's criticized and condemned for being alive.
He's not supposed to fight back, he's supposed to have thick skin,
He's supposed to lay down and die when his door is kicked in.
He's the neighborhood bully.

The neighborhood bully been driven out of every land,
He's wandered the earth an exiled man.
Seen his family scattered, his people hounded and torn,
He's always on trial for just being born.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Well, he knocked out a lynch mob, he was criticized,
Old women condemned him, said he should apologize.
Then he destroyed a bomb factory, nobody was glad.
The bombs were meant for him.
He was supposed to feel bad.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Well, the chances are against it and the odds are slim
That he'll live by the rules that the world makes for him,
'Cause there's a noose at his neck and a gun at his back
And a license to kill him is given out to every maniac.
He's the neighborhood bully.

He got no allies to really speak of.
What he gets he must pay for, he don't get it out of love.
He buys obsolete weapons and he won't be denied
But no one sends flesh and blood to fight by his side.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Well, he's surrounded by pacifists who all want peace,
They pray for it nightly that the bloodshed must cease.
Now, they wouldn't hurt a fly.
To hurt one they would weep.
They lay and they wait for this bully to fall asleep.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Every empire that's enslaved him is gone,
Egypt and Rome, even the great Babylon.
He's made a garden of paradise in the desert sand,
In bed with nobody, under no one's command.
He's the neighborhood bully.

Now his holiest books have been trampled upon,
No contract he signed was worth what it was written on.
He took the crumbs of the world and he turned it into wealth,
Took sickness and disease and he turned it into health.
He's the neighborhood bully.

What's anybody indebted to him for?
Nothin', they say.
He just likes to cause war.
Pride and prejudice and superstition indeed,
They wait for this bully like a dog waits to feed.
He's the neighborhood bully.

What has he done to wear so many scars?
Does he change the course of rivers?
Does he pollute the moon and stars?
Neighborhood bully, standing on the hill,
Running out the clock, time standing still,
Neighborhood bully.
