I have recieved a seemingly legit letter from them stating that I have won some money.

I fear that they are trying to scam me, but they haven't asked me for any personal information.

I've entered a few sweepstakes, but I don't know what to do.

My father is going to take the letter to his lawyer and see if it is real or a scam.

I would really love to answer back to them and recieve my 'winnings', but with all of the scamming here lately, I don't know who to trust and who not to.

I've even looked onto some scam searcher sites, but the name was not there.

So... Legit or scam???

Thanx a lot! :)

Apparently, you didn't look hard enough. I found this on my first try. I hate to break this to you, but it's a scam.

Sure sounds like a scam. If they're asking for personal information to receive your winnings - it's a scam.

It's a scam! If you received it in the mail, turn it over to the postal inspectors at the post office in your community.
