I've decided to be roadkill for halloween, I've got pretty much everything covered exept that I'd like to paint tire tracks on w white t-shirt. I have no idea how to do that without it looking like a complete disaster, anyone got any tips??

Got an old spare tire. Why paint it when you can roll an old tire through some mud and roll it across the costume?

Just, crudely, paint some parallel zig zags, horizontally, across the front of the costume. The zig zags pattern should only be about ten to twelve inches wide. It will be enough to "suggest" tire treads. If you try to make the treads look too accurate, the patterns will be too small to see and no one will be able to know what the marks are meant to be.
