There were so many, but the one's that I really liked were Patches, Last Kiss, and Sugar Shack.

OMG that's like asking who's your favourite child.
Loved all the British invasion stuff. But for some weird reason a song called Puppet on a string pops into my head every now and then. It think the artist was British, Sandie Shaw?
Big Town Boy the artist's name has left my head.
Candles in the Rain by Melanie.
Day is Done by Peter, Paul and Mary.
Peppermint Twist by Joey Dee and the Starlighters.
Anything by Simon and Garfunkle, Joan Baez. The Guess Who's Laughin and She's come Undun.

Oh Boy, so many to choose from. The Temptations,Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Beach Boys, "The Whole British Invasion",, ELVIS, but the song that keeps popping up it seems, every time there is a change in my life, wether it be good or bad is "THE LION SLEEPS TONITE" 1961( and right now I'm having a "(senior moment)" and can't remember the name of the group who did it. I did notice a lot of replys ya got from some folks was music from the 70's, SO i DON'T FEL SO BAD ABOUT MY "SENIOR MOMENT"!! And 1 other artist who crossed all lines was a Patsy Cline and her rendition of "Walking After Midnite"

I can't remember all of my favorites during the 60's. So I'll
go with one I remember playing alot on the juke box in '63
everytime I walked in a particular burger joint on an army
base in Oklahoma then. And it was "Sherry Baby". Don't
remember who sang the song tho. But everytime someone
saw me on the way in, on that record would go. I felt flattered
for the recognition. Until one day I asked everyone to stop.
There's only so many times you can stand one song to be
played LOL.

The Beatles "Hey Jude"
I was a young Jarhead fresh back from the hostilities in Viet Nam and I could relate to the lyrics and music as associated with the patron saint of lost causes...my idealism, my innocence and almost, my hope.
Groovin' was a good 'un too. And that makes me think of the one that had the line "I can see clearly now, the rain has gone...

I'm trying to remember anything from the 60's.I remember being on a tv show with Joni James-so one of her songs had to be out then. For starters- "Have You Heard" "Why Dont You Believe Me?" oh my. What memories that brings back.

I loved Bobby Curtola's singing. He was really big in Canada and they called him Mr Personality. I had a fan club for him in the late 50's and early 60's and met him in person. He was a real entertainer and still is!
