To keep Hellary Rotten Clinton from becoming the next President and turning the USA into a socialist utopia that would make Karl Marx wince.
Think I'm lying about her intentions?
Who said this?
(1) "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
(2) "It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, and for the few, and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity."
(3) "(We) can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people."
(4) "We have to build a political consensus, and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own turf in order to create this common ground."
(5) "I certainly think the free-market has failed."
(6) "I think it's time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector in (the) entire economy - that they are being watched."
Now you might think these were the famous words of the Father of
communism, Karl Marx.
And you would be on the right track in thinking so.
But you would be wrong.
These pearls of socialist/Marxist wisdom are from non other than
our very own, home-grown Marxist. . . .
Hillary Clinton!

There are a number of reasons why one should vote.
First: You get to
Second: If you don't vote you really don't have a voice in who is chosen to represent you at any level of the government.
Third: If you fail to vote and you complain about the way government runs then who is to blame? You are...because you failed to vote and there have been some elections where only one vote made the difference.
Fourth: Many many many young people who never had a chance to vote died to preserve your freedom and your right to vote.
I have attached a website to the American Cemetery in St. Avold France where there is buried over 10,000 young soldiers who died in combat in Europe. I was privileged to go there when I was a young boy and my father told me that the soldiers who died, died in part so we as a an American society could be free and to participate in all our rights as American citizens...and one of those is the right to vote.

People should vote because it is their right to do so; many people have fought & died to keep this right for us. It is our civic duty to do so, to try & insure that the people we want speaking for us are following our wishes for what we, the people, want in our country, states & cities. When we don't vote, we are saying that we don't care. Often the people we individualy want to win an election, don't win but, we learn to live with who the majority elects to office; knowing that there will be another election in only four years & perhaps those we like just might win then!
I hope you do well on your essay.

Better question is who is worth our vote, in 2008 the farce brings us Hillary and Rudy both champions of corporate America, yet many believe they had voted for party belief...The Reality is there is no longer a difference between the two party's at the decision making levels...that's why America is going straight to HELL.

Voting isn't just you voting for your candidate you chose... it also tells lawmakers how many voted this way or that way. Even if your candidate loses. The opposing candidate knows how many voted for the other guy. It creates a arguement for congress on how you feel about things.

People should vote to make others feel good. However, your vote actually means nearly nothing and effects your life even less.

You vote so that you have the right to complain when your 'guy/girl' doesn't get elected. I voted for Al Gore.... so I have the right to complain about G. W. Cowboy.

It's a right and with every right comes a responsibility. If you don't use it, you could lose it. It is a civic oblagation. Sadly many take it for granted. Peace
