Someone who plows the road in my sub division offered to plow my driveway for $22 per time, its a fairly small driveway. Is this a good price?

Based on how often does it snow and how much?

Ask around your division, what is everyone else paying? If the going rate is the $22 then make sure you and the man establish when he will clear off. Anything less then an inch will be melted in a day so why plow it. Also how will he clear the snow? Tractor, shovel, broom?
Does he have insurance? One fall and you could be out more then 22.00

Settle on an amount per inch. Otherwise they will be over for every flurry. Look at it this way: What is your time worth? How long will it take to shovel. But you don't say how long and how wide. Dont you think that would help get better answers? Also there is alot of geographical differences. Why not just get a couple neighbor kids or some old retired fart?

$22 is a good price for plowing. I don't know of anyone in my area that charges less than $40.
