why do terrorists hate America?

i mean my grandma doesn`t like the music i like. but she is far from killing me for that.

is there any deeper reason?

when the Us folks say terrorists, they mean the ones who look Middle Eastern.

The US support of Israel , supplying Israel with over a billion a year in Military support to bomb and kill Palestinians , taking out a Democratically elected Government in Iran - anyone remember Mohammad Mosaddeq ? Keeping the Middle East a third world with trade embargo's . I could go and on .

If you look at disasters around the world and ask yourself which country would donate the most money and help. No doubt, your answer would be the USA. Some people said that we helped them, but also for our best interest. This is true for every nation. Then why America is hated by terrorists? Could it be jealous? Hollywood movies? Propaganda in the terrorists state? Probably all the the above!

America has shown itself to be this proud, powerful and all consuming place. We have an over abundence of everything. We eat too much. Spend too much money on extravagant items and live like there is no tomorrow (or so some foreigners may say).
We have total freedom of religion and are not governed by people who don't care if they destroy the country (even though these past few years there have been a lot of questions).
They consider us egotistical, greedy among other bad things. They don't see us as helping them, they see us as what we can get from their country. They see us trying to change their govermental processes and religions. No one likes another country to try to tell them what to do.
I really think it is about a few things.......religion, oil, land and of course letting them produce all the opium they can to fund their regimes and wars.
It's not about us turning them into a democratic nation with the freedoms allowed us. They see us as infiltrators destroying their only way of life.
The wars over there have been going on since biblical times and until recently no one really cared. Why? Americas obsession with foreign oil.
They don't want us there, we shouldn't be there.

It has to do with Israel, America is Israel's most powerful friend,and the terrorists hate Israel and always have. They believe that if they force America to stop supporting through acts of terror Israel will fall, like South Vietnam did after America left. Plus they hate our culture.

Hatred doesn't have much to do with it. Do American soldiers hate Iraqis? I hope not, cause they aren't doing their job if they do. Similarly, anti-American terrorists are footsoldiers willing to do pretty atrocious actions to fight the war. However, they don't take the time to love or hate Americans; instead they view this as a war and they have to fight its battles.
