A journalism major from a known school would be best, but any good college. Work on the school paper and cover the heck out of sports. Also, keep a good clip book and also see if you can become a stringer for your local paper.

My son graduated from the university of milwaukee with a degree in mass comunications and got a job as a sports writer right after graduating . Six months into his job he was promotet ot sports editor .
