Yes!!

some Americans are unaware of the lobbyist from big name corporations that sit at the legislators doors day and night to carry out their corporations duties.

while the American citizen cant even get a call back from the person they voted for

Yes. That is why Campaign Finance Reform was a big deal in 2000. McCain Feingold did nothing to solve this problem but apparently The Public was abated by this Farce.

we run this government through our actions and lack of actions. we are doing a piss poor job of it. it is time we start applying ourselves to the task at hand. it is time we get involved
