I read somewhere its possible to overclock how loud ur built in laptop sound is. I was wondering if it is possible and how to do it. Thanks

My lappie is ACER Aspire with realtek audio

Laptops generally have very few options in BIOS as compared to desktops. Make life easier, just attach a good set of powered speakers.

You need to do this through the BIOS. Find the section that shows the multiplier of the Sound bus and increase that. You may have to up the sound voltage if things become unstable.

I wouldn't recommend playing with the equalizer timings, though. That's asking for trouble.
