thats pretty funny. for blind people. so how are they going to read the display?

its the same reason your keyboard has a bump on the J and the F keys, so that when you are typing without looking it is a reference point for your fingers.

It so that people who can't see the numbers can find the center of the calculator. you never know when you'll find yourself in a pitch black room with the urgent need to add up a sum ~_^

Not neccesarily for blind people, but so you can type in numbers without looking.

it is so that blind people know where the center of the calculator is and they can find the other buttons from there.
