The best way to flatten a tummy is run.
You wont loose to much wieght as you will be building muscle and will be lower body fat , hence, flatter tummy.
Swimming is also great. If you want a flat tummy, you simply need to lower body fat, crunches and such are for toning and rippling.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

If you are not particularly overweight, toning is the problem. Windsor Pilates was awesome for flattening my belly. It's not too bad of a program--even kind of relaxing--and the results (though they take a little while to take effect) are long-lasting (I still see effects and I haven't been doing them regularly for a while now).

However, it is NOT cardio, so if you have belly fat, you will not see the results if you do not burn that fat off.

crunches and any core exercises would be your best bet. go up to your local sports store and purchase a yoga ball. position yourself with your lower back on the ball and do crunches that way. its the more efficient and effective way.
