Maybe the reason he is acting like a lazy butt is because he knows you will just do everything anyway. Maybe you should not be such the martyring wife and make it be known that you have needs too, needs which he has been overlooking lately and that is NOT acceptable to you.
Maybe you SHOULD just throw the pan at him, I mean, he kind of deserves it.

You have to ask yourself if you want 30 or 40 years more of this. It sounds like he just wants a housekeeper and not a mate and is poor husband material. Stop cleaning and the next time he comes home after his four hour shift send him out for a pizza.
If he can't chip in with at least the cleaning, get rid of him!!

Sounds like it's time for you to quit cooking, and cleaning, and make him a nice "honey do" list. You can give it to him when you kiss him on your way out to work. Remember to smile, it's very important! Try not to look like the cheshire cat, they hate that. I have the hardest time with that part. But seriously, you quit, and passs over at least half of all that work to him, if not most!

If you work also, the household chores should be shared. Cook for yourself and let him fend for himself. Clean what you want to and leave the rest. It is not fair that you work and still have to do everything else. You have some power, use it.

You should wake him up with making lots of noise while you are cleaning. You are the one who is allowing this behavior. I know it will never get cleaned unless you do it but you are feeling sick and he should be doing that instead of you. Just let it go. Get better and let it go.

Cook & clean for yourself only, eventually, he will get hungry & cood & eventually, he will run out of clean clothes & do some laundry. Or at least he will notice your not doing it anymore & bring it up to you. Once he mentions it to you, let him know you can't do it all, you need his help.

I suggest you drop what you are doing. Order a pizza and join him on the couch.

If you are irritated now, just wait until you are married. It won't get any better.
