Do you HATE Verizon's web site? I've read in news articles that Verizon is spending a bunch of money to extend fiber optic cables to the homes of its customers. With it, they'd offer phone service, TV channels, and internet over the same fiber optic cable. I went to their web site to see where it's available. On their web site, the "high speed" internet is only 3 megabits per second down and 768 kbps up. That'd better be DSL because I'd hate to see speed that low over fiber. Is Verizon retarded or what?

that is DSL , but the speed of internet for fiber obtics is called FiOS, and in the US the top speed is 30 MB/s for DL and for the UP is 5 MB/s, elsewhere they have a connection of 100 MB/s like Japan, and i'm only using 512 kbps where I live, and they say Verizon FiOS well come to us ,, hopefully

can you hear me now?

lots of companies have less than helpful web sites and or are uh, intelligence challenged. Sometimes over thinking something leads to improving it beyond use ability.

a little known company run by B. Gates comes to mind...
