Sometimes sex and violence get mixed up with each other in people's minds. They end up being aroused by both things together, or even just violence alone, more than 'normal' romantic sex. It's not about hating women. It can have something to do with domination as well, something everyone has to a degree in them. Power plays can be a big part of sex.
If he's watching the really extreme S&M stuff that's out there (where there is blood and screaming and all that)_then you need to get away from him. If it's simply tying someone up, or mild stuff like whipping and biting, it's not such a big deal. I'd ask my partner why he/she watches the stuff. What turns them on about it? That's really the only way you will know for sure.

Adrenalinje is colsely linked with the sex drive and violence, is this clear thats why so many sex crimes take place under the theatre of war .
Also anxiety can increase adrenaline drives so to dissapate this men will become sexual or violent or both .
What ewe need is a drug that will lower adrenaline and cortisol
I have high adrenaline it gives me intuition a quick temper , a strong sexual phantasy life . And creativity But it also increases food appetite . Recently I did not have money to eat , and my sex drive went hyper I canundersrand why saints and anorexic dont eat it gives you an adrenaline high .
I wish there were a drug to control adrenalind it would be a much clamer world but a lot less creative

Yeah sorry to burst your generalization bubble here. But I as a guy, do not like violent porn nor do I hate women. Your boyfriend just has some fetish, we aren't all like him.

It is probably that he finds submission and dominance a turn on and the use of violence illustrates that.
