not by my parents, but my brother told me one time that i should play this new game called 'dodge the semi' it took place in the highway. he said to go try it out and if i come back home afterwards then i won. haha wtf.

Yes, all the time. My old man would tell me to play in the road with hand grenades and razor blades in the road. So I went to Iraq and played with hand grenades in the road and he got mad at me.

I was told this once, but the guy who told me this wasn't joking. He was my step-father, and once we were walking down the street & preparing to cross, and he told me to run into the street and see if I could make it across & back without being hit (although he termed it "before any of the cars could get me"). Fortunately for me, I wasn't THAT stupid...
