I cant find my motherboard model after i reinstalled xp now my drivers need reinstalled. this is for a friends computer, the internet runs really slow now & it has no sound i need to find their drivers, ive already checks the mobo but it has nothing defining to search ive tried cpu-z it didnt list a brand or model any other programs i could try?

ok i tried dxdiag and it says manufacturer is NVIDIA system model Awardacpi so thats it?

Can U locate or find the XP disk or the Recovery disk for this system???If so then the drivers needed sould be on them.

Remove the computer's case and look at the motherboard to determine the manufacturer and model. Then, contact the manufacturer and Microsoft for software compatibility information.

Search for msinfo32 it's under system model. SMH

Hi. unfroze_caveman has a good idea. The dxdiag program will display any available board info on its first screen.

start>run then type in dxdiag and let that scan your system. When it's done look next to "system manufacturer" and "system model". that is the make and model of your MB.
