Epiphany. Let's assume that no one you would reasonably meet on the street has an IQ lower than 70. The average black IQ is 85. The average white IQ is 100. So if you're an average white person, you perceive a pretty big difference between yourself and an average black person. After all, if 70 is the bottom, then you're twice as smart, right? This perceived superiority would contribute to racial intolerance.

But to someone with an IQ of 150, there is absolutely no difference between the average black guy at 85 and the average white guy at 100. They're both morons. So the guy with an IQ of 150 doesn't see differences in terms of race since most black people AND most white people are dumber than he is. You see? The guy with the 150 IQ has to learn to get along with everyone no matter how dumb, else he won't be able to participate in society at any level.

Man I was proud of myself when I figured this out!

An IQ of 185 (assuming the dude is white) is almost SIX standard deviations beyond the mean (5.67 more or less). Assuming that there are 220 million white folks in the US, that means there are approximately 1.57 individuals in the US with an IQ of 185 or higher. Let's round up to 2. There are about two people in the US with an IQ of 185 or higher. And one of them just happens to be here on Y/A enlightening me? What are the chances? Would you care to revise your bullsht statement now or later?

Just so you folks know, I don't get all caught up in IQ numbers or tests or stuff like that, but using numbers in my postulation allows me to get my idea across in a way that's easy to understand. And just so you know, I think racism is ridiculous. That's not to say I have an IQ of 150 of course...

I don't think there is that much of a correlation between supposed intelligence and degree of racism.

Number one, IQ tests are suspect because they have been shown to have cultural/ethnic bias.

Number two, just because you are supposedly educated and learned doesn't mean you can't hold or espouse racist ideas or beliefs. Look at William Shockley, a Stanford University professor who is credited with the invention of the integrated circuit (the foundation of our technology). Brilliant guy in many respects. He later got into the eugenics movement and the racism that underpins it, which tarred his reputation.

Another guy, smart and intelligent - Jared Taylor - Yale graduate, investment banker, grew up in Japan, speaks Japanese - but is today know as the head of American Renaissance, a publication and organization that espouses white supremacy but in a polished manner - they hold symposiums and conferences with an academic bent. He's basically David Duke with an Ivy League degree and the polish.

He's connected to a whole community of academics who use psuedo-science, or academic racism. Folks like Philippe Rushton, Arthur Jensen, and of course, Murray and Herrenstein, who published the Bell Curve (which has been pretty much debunked by mainstream academia). These guys aren't stupid and I think they have pretty high IQs. It doesn't make them less racist or wrong.

I have the IQ of 185 and go on record as saying that this post is absolutely ridiculous. Racism is learned; not relevant to someone's intelligence. In fact, IQ has little to do with anything. I know very intelligent people that believe gods exist. Does this make me right because I have a higher IQ? No. I just think differently from them. The same applies to your logic above.

Also, you probably need to do a bit more research on your figures because the whole white-black statical data above is so completely WRONG.

Thank you for spewing inaccurate information.

* I saw your comment and your email to me*
Edit: Thank you for spewing inaccurate information.

You're way out of your league here, little one. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BECKON ME TO LOOK AT YOUR POST AGAIN. Do you understand???? The fact that you need to assume that I am white automatically tells me that you didn't do your homework first. Also, what does my means of personal entertainment have to do with anything? I also like to make paper clocks, as well as skip stones across lakes. That isn't truly telling information.

You have no need to worry about this as you have an IQ of 25.

Yor premise is based on faulty logic. IQ levels have very little to do with learned atitudes. And that is what racism is.

You must have an IQ of below 70 if you don't realize that what you've just stated in itself is racist.

Racism is learned from your parents, friends and society at large. No IQ differential is necessary.
