Hi, do you think infanticide should be abolished?
Infanticide is the killing of an infant (under 12 months old).

That's like asking if rape or child abuse should abolished -- of course, it should. Just like any other violent crime.
The problem is -- just like any other violent crime -- the fact that it is illegal doesn't stop anyone. And the fact that it counts as murder (regardless of the age of the victim) -- again, that just doesn't stop some people.
So, unless you are talking about the few countries that don't punish it as a serious crime -- there's very little we as a species can do to stop those who want to hurt others.
