They won't be punished, so why spend more of my tax money for this exercise in fake justice?

Its all for show....just like our efforts at diplomacy before the war started and our current "diplomacy" towards Iran.

True, there are lots of horrors that go on in war. It's not exactly everyday life and never forget that the other guy IS trying to kill you. Don't doubt it for a minute.

Why investigate? because Americans, and apparently the Iraki gov't, can't resist the prospect of a good dog and pony show.

I agree. I don't see the problem with killing the enemy anyway. Kill them all.
