You could either bleed for months, have a regular period, have no period, or spot at odd times of the month.

I didn't know you could breastfeed while on depo.

big time! I took the depo shot and had my period for 3 months straight and to make matters worse I gain about 40 lb and was losing my hair. DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF!

At the end of the day all those medication do more harm than good. If you responsible I say self control but if not try yazmine birth control pills. They worked good for me will minimum side affects.

Good luck with that one!

Yes, it will severly irregulate your period. You can stop them all together, you can have one every few months, etc. Each person is different but I can pretty much do away with any regularity of cycle.

Mine stopped completely after the first shot. I gained a lot of weight on it however, so have switched to nuva ring. I use it continously so it also does away with my periods.
Best of luck!

iT STOPS YOUR PERIOD AND GIVES YOU EVEN BIGGER PROBLEMS. I got cycts from that shot and I know a woman who bled for a couple of weeks. Be careful, its not really worth it.
