The only way you'd know is by losing weight.

If you lose weight and lose a breast cup, your breasts are more fatty than dense.

If you lose weight and don't lose a breast cup, your breasts are more dense than fatty.

I lost weight but didn't lose any in the breast, so i had to resort to a reduction at age 32 since my breasts were more dense.

Since you are overweight, most likely you will lose a breast cup or two. Try losing the weight first.

EVERY woman has primarily fatty tissue in their breasts (roughly 60% of the breast is fatty tissue; the rest is mammory glands & ducts). That's just a fact of life. If you lost about 100 lbs, your breasts would reduce accordingly, because you'd lose fat from all over.

Density on the other hand is VERY dependent upon age. A young woman's breast material is going to be far denser (and thereby far less likely to be able to be examined via a mammogram) than a woman over 40. This is why mamm's aren't recommended for women younger than 40.
